The care we extend to our communities

—we belong to it too.

We build the conditions for people doing justice and healing work to sustain themselves — and each other — for the long haul.

Burnout in this work is not a personal failing.

We came to this work because we love our communities. We are organizers, frontline workers, healers, advocates. And we burned out doing it — because the conditions we work in were not designed with our wellbeing in mind.

We pour care into the people we serve every single day. And our communities have always known how to heal — collectively, culturally, through practice and tradition. Somewhere in the act of serving, we stepped outside that circle.

AllThrive exists to bring us back in.

We believe that resilience alone is not enough.

AllThrive's mission is to cultivate sustainable social change by addressing the root causes of burnout. We work with organizations and their funders to change impossible working conditions — through healing practices, research, and storytelling.

By addressing burnout at its roots — not just its symptoms — we help the people doing this work stop surviving and start thriving. Because the communities we serve deserve nothing less.

Mission-Driven Burnout 101

A pink arrow pointing upward with a black heart inside.

A self-paced course for nonprofit workers, organizers, and frontline staff. The safety training the sector never gave you — built on four years of primary research.

In partnership with OLU8 Films — for foundations and public agencies whose grantees have stories worth telling, non-extractively, in a way that makes the process itself an act of healing.

Collective Care for Organizations

A four-month process for organizations ready to enter collective healing — together, including leadership. Not a training delivered to your staff. A journey you take with them.

Our Impact

“We also realized we needed a way to heal from the trauma of COVID and racism. We were lucky to work with AllThrive and OLU8, who understood all this and facilitated our storytelling process in ways that were reflective, profound, and transforming.”

The Course exists because this work matters.

Mission-Driven Burnout 101 is built on four years of primary research with the workers closest to the crisis. It is the safety training the sector has never provided — and it cannot reach the people who need it without funding to bring it to life.

If you believe that the wellbeing of the people doing this work is a justice issue — not a wellness trend — you can invest in making this course accessible to every worker who needs it, regardless of what they can afford.
